“NO BAG DAY” was organized by #GJGS.
The objective of the “no bag day” programme is to allow students to learn in a stress-free environment.
The day was utilized by a collection of interactive activities that help kids become more involved in the stories that they read. Students were asked to Choose any book that they want to read. They narrated the stories using speech bubbles and pictures of the characters.
Reading and storytelling helps children learn about sounds, words and language. Reading stimulates imagination, develops social skills and helps children learn about the world. GJGS encourages its students to participate in such activities in which a child gets familiar with sounds, words, language and, eventually, the value and joy of books.
